My journey into fashion wasn't conventional. Although I always dreamed of becoming a designer, I pursued Mathematics at the University of Delhi and prepared for actuarial examinations. While I excelled academically, I never felt truly fulfilled. Fashion remained my calling.
During the Covid years, I joined NIFT for a certificate course in Indian Fashion and Styling. It gave me the confidence to take my first step. I designed my first outfit for my cousin's wedding, and the process became my greatest teacher. Every garment that followed taught me something new through trial, craftsmanship, and constant refinement.
For years, I designed exclusively for my family, who became my first muses. Along the way, I discovered that what inspired me most wasn't trends, but Indian craftsmanship handloom textiles, intricate embroidery, and the beauty of pieces made slowly and thoughtfully. That passion became Neevtula.
Today, we create contemporary Indian wear rooted in traditional craftsmanship, using handwoven fabrics and meticulous hand embroidery to craft timeless pieces that celebrate India's rich textile heritage.
